Growing up as a pastor’s son, becoming a pastor was something I never wanted. I tried to run away from that calling. I was a shy and introverted person who preferred sitting at the back of the church, afraid to speak or even hold a microphone. But by God’s grace, He healed me, strengthened me, and prepared me for His purpose.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and used my skills in organization management, web design, video editing, and photography to support and build the ministry from behind the scenes. Through many efforts, sacrifices, and above all by God’s grace, the ministry began to grow. I had many dreams of building my own career and business, but deep inside I felt God calling me to serve Him. I knew ministry in India would bring many challenges, as I had seen my own family walk through years of struggles and sacrifices for God’s work.

There was also a difficult season when betrayal led me through severe anxiety, fear, and brokenness. For almost three years I struggled, but during that time I came closer to Jesus, and through His grace He restored my peace and strengthened my life.

One day my wife told me, “Even if you succeed in other things, I see true joy in you when you preach God’s Word and serve Him.” I felt God speaking to me through her words.

Later, while reading Isaiah 6:8, the words touched my heart:

“Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

​

Isaiah answered, “Here am I. Send me.”

The calling I once ran away from became the purpose I surrendered to. Today my desire is to serve Jesus Christ, reach the unreached, care for the poor, and share His love and compassion.

Here I am Lord, send me.
